Eligibility for returns
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging including Gift Toiletry Bag or Tote Bag. Items with no tags or labels will not be accepted under any circumstances.
For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on bathing suits that have been worn, soiled, or altered in any way. This includes any items with makeup stains, deodorant marks, or perfumes.
The hygienic adhesive liner pad must remain intact and unremoved for the bathing suit to be eligible for return. Once the hygienic pad is removed, the item cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
You will need to provide us with the receipt or proof of purchase.
To initiate a return, please email us at hola@shoprutadelsol.com with the order number, order date, and the item(s) you wish to return. Once your return is authorized, we will provide detailed instructions for shipping your item(s) back to us.
Return shipping labels are the responsibility of the customer.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Note that returns for USA, Puerto Rico and Canada will need to be sent to the following address: 1225 Ave. Juan Ponce de León PH-1446. San Juan, PR 00907.
For returns within Europe, the procedure remains the same; however, the return address will be provided via email once we receive your request.
Please include the original receipt or proof of purchase in your return package to help us process your return more efficiently.
Shipping fees (both standard and express) are non-refundable.
Domestic Returns (within Puerto Rico):
For returns within Puerto Rico, return shipping fees are usually the responsibility of the client.
International Returns (outside Puerto Rico):
For returns from international locations, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please note that the customer is also responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred during the return process.
In cases where the return is due to an error on our part, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimbursement for return shipping costs.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Archive Sale Policy
All items included in our Archive Sale are considered final sale.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds under any circumstances. However, exchanges are allowed, subject to product availability.
To request an exchange, items must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached. Exchange requests must be made within a specified period after delivery (e.g., 7–14 days).
Customers are responsible for any shipping costs associated with exchanges, unless the item received is defective or incorrect.
We strongly recommend reviewing product descriptions, sizing, and details carefully before completing your purchase. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to assist you prior to placing your order.
By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. To be eligible for a return, your item must follow the parameters explained in eligibility for return, explained above.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
